​I qualified from Bristol University Medical School in 2010.  I started my clinical training in North-west London, and subsequently started Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Training.  In 2013 my husband and I moved to New Zealand.  I have been working as a GP since 2015 and I am due to become a Fellow of the RNZGP College this year.  FemaleGP was established in 2016 to improve access to focused healthcare for women.

​In 2020-2021 I was the Clinic Lead of a GP-led prolapse and incontinence clinic at Hawkes Bay Hospital.  I work as a Forensic Medical Examiner for sexual assault, and practice General Practice at a local Family Practice.. It has always been my ambition to focus on women's health and run a specialist clinic.   I regularly meet with specialist health care providers in women's health, particularly menopause and reproductive hormone medicine, from all over the world, to ensure I deliver quality healthcare. 

I live the ‘kiwi-dream’ on a lifestyle block in Hawkes Bay with my daughter, husband and dogs (as well as the obligatory chickens and sheep).  Out of work, I’m either with my family, or running with friends.  I also love baking and trying my hand at a variety of arts and crafts, particularly with my daughter.  

My philosophy

​Women have health conditions related to all stages of life.  These are significantly affected by hormones which also change throughout life.  I apply a western medical approach looking at women as a whole.​

We are not static.  Things change in our bodies, minds and situations month to month, and year to year.  Health is influenced by physical health and mental health.  I bring these two concepts together to help you move forward.  I empower women to decide what is best for them.  I give informed choices in both oral and written forms, and time.  Time to listen, time to ask questions and time for all of us to put things together and make an individualised plan.
I am constantly developing the ways I communicate with my patients to ensure I can support and direct along ones health care journey.

Every Wednesday and Friday for face-to-face consultations and procedures
Virtual video or phone consultations are generally on Wednesday or Friday
Emergency contraceptive procedures as required - eg urgent copper coils

Initial appointment (Face-to-face or virtual)
At FemaleGP we find a longer, more detailed initial appointment helps establish a comprehensive plan with which to move forward.  There will be communication to your GP to enable a team approach.  And you will be provided with resources, and access to our Confidential Patient Portal as we find this enables the best way to move forward.   You can also request one of these comprehensive appointments at any subsequent point (separate quote will be provided based upon your needs).

• $340 for 40 minute appointment 
• $440 for 60 minute extended appointment 

Follow-up appointments

• $125 for 15 minute appointment
• $200 for 30 minute appointment
• Pessary checks $75
• Brief telephone follow-up ($40-90)
• Email $40 per 10 minutes of email time
